It's me Thiago F. Castro, the gruesome artist for the Nightmares of The Macabre comic, the fucked up tales of gore!!
Created and written by the sickening brother of mine Josh "Bile" Cantrell.
This is a brand new horrific comic, I hope you all bathe on its blood!!!
This project began pretty simple, Josh was looking for an artist and I was looking for a writer over the net. So he sent me his script and asked if I liked it. So this is basically me showing my love for his freaky tales!!

Nightmares of the Macabre follows in the gruesome tradition of such greats as Tales From the Crypt and Creepshow. The Horror and Death Metal themed tales with a macabre twist ending will keep any fan of these genres coming back for more.

STEP 1:
I also do the designs for the logo and lettering. I'm very into Corel Painter IX and photoshop, this is what I use everyday to create comics and cover art for bands and shit. For this 1st step, me and Josh talked about how to show Jack's facial expression for his encounter with the chaos he saw. You're seeing a corpse on the hood of car. This was a cool idea Josh had, showing the crashed cars on a highway while the main character Jack is heading to a military base.
I like to start first with colors, as a base for what's coming on, its easier for me cause in the end the black color gets in contrast!
STEP 2:
So here we got more colors. I like to detail the colors, it takes more time but its very important for the final result. You can see the desert, Jack's face and the cars coming to life, i mean death. Here I started with some black, I do this to see if I'm heading the right way. If the drawing is not coming out good I'll discard it and start all over again, if not I'll keep putting more colors to get more darker. Corel painter is a very useful tool, its like photoshop but i think its better cause you have a large quantity of pencils, its easy to work with and its basically pretty simple! I love it!
STEP3:
Hey, sickos here we go!! it has more colors on Jack's face, a bit in the sky, in the cars, not much ok, I let the black color do the rest of the job. Here for the final step I take the black more seriously. If you are starting to draw now, don't be afraid of the darker colors as I once was, it'll take your art to the next level, study the human body, the nature, see it for yourself how the shadows are, anyway good luck!!

Both The Cintiq 21ux And The Genuine Fractals Are Helpful For Photographers
Wacom announced the launch of the Cintiq 21ux tablet device which in fact is a kind of Interactive Pen Display. This is a great device for the artists and the photographers and is expected that it would help them in a great way to make their works easier and flexible.
The Cintiq 21ux is available with the latest up gradation in technology. It is a 1600 by 1200 pixel monitor as well as the graphics tablet available all in a single device. The 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity with a new sensor technology is one of the greatest features of this new device. The color scheme has also been updated and the touch strips have been moved to the back panel.
The Cintiq 21ux actually allows the display to be positioned at any angle ranging from 10 to 65 degrees. Quite similar to that of the Wacom Intuos, the Cintiq 21ux is available with a pen stand which doubles up as the storage of the nib. The standard, the stroke as well as the felt-tip nips are also included in this tablet device. It comes in combination with the Corel painter Sketch pas, the Nik color Efex Pro 3.0 WE6 as well as the Wacom brushes 3.0.
Its price is set around $1999 and is available in the market now. The photographers and the artists who have not yet purchased the Cintiq 21ux shall immediately rush to purchase it.
Apart from the Cintiq 21ux, software called Genuine Fractals has also been developed in order to make their work more flexible in nature. This is a ready to use image-resizing plug in for the Adobe Photoshop as well as the Light Room.
The operation mode of the genuine fractals is quite simple in nature. This would help to a great extent not only the professional photographers but the new photographers as well. They would be able to get the best shots with the help of this device. This software allows the user to encode the low to medium resolution files to a resolution-free format which can indeed be opened up at any resolution of the choices of the user.
Images with Genuine Fractals can be saved in two different ways. There is a lossless save option which can create a file almost about half the size of the original. On the other hand, the virtually lossless save option can create a file approximately about one-fifth of the size of the original. There is however little difference in the quality when the file is viewed in the enlarged form.
