How do I completely remove a Microsoft wireless keyboard from my hard drive?

A wireless microsoft keyboard remains on my computer even though I haven't had it for 2 years. When I go to Add/Remove Programs there is no choice to "change" or "remove." I would appreciate any tech help I can get on this one! I need my compute to recognise my current keyboard. Thanks in advance, sian

System Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>Keyboards>Right click on the keyboard and it should say uninstall.

You can get to System Properties by right clicking on the MY COMPUTER icon. Then go to Properties and click on the Hardware tab. Then click on Device Manager and then Keyboards.
