Graphics tablet problemos?

My Trust TB-5300 graphics tablet is being abit of a bother. Sometimes when I plug it in the USB, my laptop says "USB device not recognised". Other times when I plug it in, it is not detected at all, but the light on my tablet flashes when the pen is in contact. Is it broken or is there a way to sort the problem?

This is likely a problem with the connector part where the usb header is

Either the tablet cable has broken from bending, or the laptops usb port has broken

If everything else works on the laptops usb then its the tablets cable

The only way to fix it is resoldering the connectors
